Gavin Spears stands at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds. He grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada - not in the area he calls "the touristy, happy-loving part of Niagara Falls," but the side people would prefer to keep quiet. Although some Canadians have a reputation of smiling and waving, he will be the first to assure you he doesn't come from that stock.
As a boy, Spears excelled at every sport there was to play, including hockey, which he played for 13 years. He also grew up loving WWE, admiring charismatic "bad guy" Superstars such as "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "The Model" Rick Martel, and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig.
Coming to the Land of the Extreme is a dream come true for Spears. He feels it is only a matter of time before his supreme talent sets him apart from the rest. He knows full well what he is capable of and, in his words, a lot of it is not very nice. To him, there is everybody else and then there is Gavin Spears.
Generally, he acknowledges that Canadian Superstars are known for being extremely confident in what they do. And, although there are some huge names that have come to WWE from the north, he feels that very soon, he will be the biggest name to come out of Canada.
