Vickie Guerrero has been given a more authoritative role on SmackDown since the last time our fans saw her on Friday nights. Once the malicious business manager of Chavo Guerrero, Vickie has been named General Manager of SmackDown.
Vickie was given an interview with then GM Theodore Long as he sought to find someone to share the responsibility with on Friday nights. After Long's untimely heart attack, Guerrero was named General Manager. The move paid off for one SmackDown Superstar, Edge, when it was revealed that he and Guerrero were in love, eventually becoming husband and wife.
No matter what the future holds, one thing is clear. In the short time that Guerrero has sat at the helm of SmackDown, no General Manager in the history of WWE has incurred the ire of the fans more than she.
